Tailstech's World - KubeJS package
Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge / KubeJS 2101.7.x
Updated 2026-09-06

Current pack logic:
- Eternal Starlight Orb of Prophecy recipe uses Condensed Aether in place of Blue Starlight Crystal Shards.
- Food is usable at full hunger, provides tiered healing/buffs, uses a 3 second per-item cooldown, slows exhaustion to ~34% of vanilla, and disables vanilla natural regeneration.
- Exploration loot is tiered T0-T4. T0 is villages/mundane; T1 normal Overworld; T2 high-tier Overworld + normal Nether; T3 End + exceptional Nether; T4 Eternal Starlight. Abyss has no loot tables and is not classified.
- The loot overhaul adds tiered exploration caches and increases special reward rates while keeping apex Nameless Trinkets gated.
- Broad Apotheosis chest injections are removed and replaced by curated tier-scaled affix/gem rolls.
- Early Artifacts village/profession injections and the spawn-bonus Sophisticated Backpack injection are removed.
- God's Crown and Dying Star are excluded from the curated Nameless Trinkets pools. Ethereal Wings are T4 only.

Client-side KubeJS web server is disabled and its old packaged auth token was removed.

Epic Villages helper loot overrides:
- Replaces minecraft:chests/dye, mineral, random, stone, trash, and wood.
- Removes generic emerald/diamond/ore-block style rewards from the helper mineral table.
- Mineral loot is now modest raw materials, nuggets, coal, flint, redstone, and lapis.
- The other helper tables are deliberately low-value village clutter/building supplies.
- Vanilla profession-specific village chest loot tables are not replaced by this pass.

2026-09-07 v3 structure-aware loot test:
- Tailstech bonus tier now uses actual structure identity for Epic Villages, Epic Jungle Temples, Epic Witch Huts and Epic Dungeons.
- Original chest loot tables remain untouched. minecraft:chests/stone, mineral, random, wood, trash and dye helper tables are retained.
- Epic Villages / vanilla village structures are T0.
- Epic temple ruin + small dungeons are T1; temple + witch hut + medium dungeons are T2; large temple + large dungeons are T3.
- Other chests still use the previous loot-table classifier.
- TSP_DEBUG_LOOT is enabled for testing; each generated chest logs table, source and tier.

2026-09-07 v4 structure-aware test:
- Fixes Rhino syntax error caused by JavaScript array spread syntax.
- Tailstech bonus tiering uses actual structure matches for Epic Villages / Temples / Witch Huts / Dungeons.
- Epic Villages helper tables dye/mineral/random/stone/trash/wood are restored verbatim from Epic Villages 1.3.3, so their original chest contents are retained.
- Debug loot logging remains enabled for this test build.

2026-09-07 v5 structure-first cleanup:
- Structure-aware Tailstech bonus classification now also covers vanilla structures whose chest tier is unambiguous: mineshafts, igloos, outposts, shipwrecks, ocean ruins and ruined portals (T1); buried treasure, desert/jungle pyramids, Nether fortresses and strongholds (T2); Ancient Cities, End Cities and Woodland Mansions (T3).
- Villages remain T0 regardless of the embedded loot table used by Epic Villages.
- Epic temple ruin/small dungeons remain T1; temple/witch hut/medium dungeons T2; large temple/large dungeons T3.
- The loot-table fallback is now excluded by the exact same LootJS matchStructure(..., true) condition used by the structure modifiers, inverted with Minecraft's InvertedLootItemCondition. No vanilla location_check approximation is used.
- Bastions and Trial Chambers intentionally remain loot-table classified because their legitimate chest subtypes span multiple Tailstech tiers.
- Base chest loot is not replaced by this structure-tier logic; the restored Epic Villages helper tables remain unchanged.

2026-09-07 v6 progression-tier rebalance:
- T0 remains villages/mundane loot with no Tailstech bonus.
- T1 is normal Overworld exploration: ocean ruins, shipwrecks, pyramids, buried treasure, ordinary Epic structures, and similar content.
- T2 is high-tier Overworld plus normal Nether progression: Strongholds, Ancient Cities, Mansions, Nether Fortresses, ordinary Bastion sections, large/high-tier Epic structures, and comparable modded content.
- T3 is mainly End progression plus exceptional Nether rewards: End Cities, BetterEnd chests, Bastion treasure, and BetterNether Wither Tower rewards.
- T4 remains Eternal Starlight only.
- Speed Force and Vampire Blood remain in the T3 Nameless pool; no recent Nameless balance changes were reverted.
- Philips Ruins ocean_ruin_fortress and ocean_ruins are T1; ancient/lost/high-level ruins top out at T2.
- Abyss is deliberately absent from loot classification because it has no loot tables.

2026-09-07 v7 Epic Villages tuning:
- Village structure-set spacing is increased from vanilla 34 chunks to 40 chunks; separation and salt are unchanged. This makes new villages moderately rarer without changing their biome/type weighting.
- Existing generated villages are unaffected; the placement change applies to newly generated terrain.
- Actual village chests remove minecraft:deepslate_emerald_ore after their original loot table generates.
- Emerald stacks in actual village chests are reduced to 30% of generated size (rounded up, minimum 1).
- Cleanup is matched by exact village structure position, so misleading Epic Villages loot-table IDs cannot cause the same cleanup outside villages.
- Original Epic Villages chest loot tables remain otherwise intact and villages remain T0 for Tailstech bonus classification.

v8 - End Mithril source:
- BetterEnd Thallasium Ore now adds 0-2 tailstechs_combat:raw_mithril when mined.
- The normal Thallasium drops are preserved unchanged.
- Raw Mithril and Mithril Ore tooltips now explain that Mithril is usually found as a contaminant in Thallasium veins.

v9 - structure-family integration + rarity pass:
- Moog's Missing Villages (MMV) dark-forest, jungle and swamp villages are T0 and receive the same emerald/deepslate-emerald cleanup as vanilla/Epic villages.
- Moog's Temples Reimagined (MTR): normal Overworld temples are T1; Nether Temple and Stronghold are T2.
- Moog's Mineshafts Reimagined (MMR): Overworld mineshafts are T1; Nether mineshaft is T2.
- Moog's Soaring Structures (MSS): ordinary floating exploration structures are T1; Arena, Castle Ruin, Castle Tower, Desert Pyramid, Large Tower and Volcano are T2.
- Moog's Nether Structures (MNS) are T2.
- YUNG's Better Nether Fortress (betterfortresses:fortress) is T2.
- Moog's End Structures (MES) are T3.
- BetterEnd chest tables remain T3. Better End Cities continues to be covered by the minecraft:end_city structure T3 rule.
- BetterNether remains loot-table aware so ordinary BetterNether chests stay T2 while Wither Tower / Wither Tower Bonus stay T3.
- BetterNether nether_city placement is reduced from spacing/separation 64/32 to 96/48 for newly generated chunks.
- config/moogs_structures.json sets MSS spacing multiplier to 1.5 and preserves the existing MVS multiplier of 3.0.
- Structure-aware modded groups now retain their mod namespace for the curated Artifacts roll even when a structure reuses a vanilla loot table.
